Stars I wish it was that warm here

NJ22 glad his procedure went well.  Have been seeing redwing blackbirds here too

Ado yoga can make you pretty sore if you're not used to it

Tweety that is annoying.  Glad your sister is helping your  parents out

Hi Dianah

Was a pretty busy day yesterday.  Went out early for some bird watching,  only saw a few.  But on the way home saw a bald eagle, which I haven't seen before

Did laundry and taxes, the latter went pretty quick despite  using  new software. Cleared cobwebs and dusted for the first time in a long time.  Watched most of the Svengoolie movie

Looked some of the Meetup groups in detail.  Think I'm going to join one of the book clubs, their description and the book they've chosen sound good.  There's another social group that is based in the suburb where I used to live, I think I'll give them a try too

Today have adult education before church and an evangelism meeting afterwards.  I'll be the assisting minister today.  Will try and start a crock pot recipe before church

Will be in the 40s today, no rain or snow expected

We are at... 72 degrees, and it is very brightly sunny; no clouds at all.

Nannie is napping in her recliner, and hubby is up in his bed because his stomach is bothering him. Too many little CANS of TOMATO JUICE in the past 2-3 days. He says his pee is pinkish-red and so are his bowels. YIKES! That happened to me one time when I had 3 very large boiled beets with butter and salt. I remember standing up and looking in the toilet bowl and having a brief moment of frowning and saying good grief! THEN I realized I had no s/s of  stomach or intestinal discomfort, and THEN I remembered the beets! Whew. I got him a little six-pack of Pineapple juice to alternate with the tomato juice.

Hubby is not sure he'll eat supper, so it'll be just Nannie and me, unless he changes his mind. Not sure what I'll fix ...or is that MAKE?  Because if it ain't broke I won't FIX it!

The birds and squirrels are VERY HAPPY because I loaded the feeder and put a bunch of piles of 'fruit and nut mix' on those unused deck-stairs. It didn't take them 45 seconds after I came back inside, to start feasting.

I watched The Accountant again last night (Ben Affleck and others). I don't know why I like that movie so much; it is well acted. It's like a book where they reveal a little at a time, and it all comes together towards the end. Anyway, the only reason I got to watch it was because Nannie went to bed around...7:15 PM. The movie started at 8 PM.

May watch the documentary tonight about the 'Subway' guy, Jared. However, I think it is 3 episodes of that documentary shown all in a row, which means three hours, so I'm not entirely sure I want to see three hours of it! We'll see what we see when we see it.

Hope the rest of the afternoon and evening are as quiet as it is right now. But I'm not holding my breath. Hubby starts teasing at Nannie after supper, asking, "Is it bedtime yet?" He'll ask it at LEAST half a dozen times starting at 7 PM. It irks her and I don't blame her because it irks me too. But I stay neutral, and when she wants to, she will tell me that she wants to go to bed. I always hope she does that early, but at least by 9 PM. If she stays up until 10 PM, I turn off the TV and tell her it is bedtime. She came out of her room three times last night. I told her she hadn't even been in bed for 20 minutes and it will not be time to get up until daylight, so GO BACK TO BED! But she generally sleeps 'til 1 PM! So I have time to wake up and drink coffee before I start with her.

That's all the excitement for now.

It's all the way up to 48 decrees here! And the sun shone for a few hours. I got outside and did some garden cleanup, and just sort of poked around to see what has sprouted. Later, I watched 3 deer walk through the yard. Luckily, they stayed away from my budding roses. dh went out to birdwatch. I was cold and stayed home, and fell asleep in front of the fireplace and snuggled under a fleece blanket. I really sure be doing homework--this week's topic is weeds.

G'day!

It's 76 here.  Haven't had rain in a long time.  It's 8pm and I'm home having dinner.  Been in the 80's for a while.  No rain in a good while too.

I lost yet another stethoscope.  Amazon says I purchased it 4 times.  They had a coupon so I ordered it from work and it arrived before I got home.  Some people keep their stethoscopes for years, leave it hanging on their computers and it never goes away.  I leave mine one day and it's gone.  I've been searching for days now.  Whatever

Hello all!

Joe, how cool to see a bald eagle!

We went to church this morning. The choir sang. Hubs was weird and wanted to leave before the service was really over. Apparently he was worried about Gma being home with just Twin B, who got home from work just after 7. They were both sleeping soundly when we got here.

I made an emeals recipe for dinner. Picked up things from the hospital because we're doing an employee health fair at a local bank tomorrow morning. Bought cards and gift cards for the 2 oldest grandkids who are turning 18 and 16 this week.

A few days ago I went to put out suet blocks for the birds and noticed my newest "cage" for them is missing. Must have been a victim of the high winds.

Redwing blackbirds are such pretty birds.

Ado, our suet cages always got torn down by squirrels or raccoons, so we quit putting out suet.
