Tweety it must be awkward admitting someone you know

Hi Dianah

Stars sounds like a productive day

Ado I hope she remains calmer, and Dory is OK

Got out for some bird watching in the morning.  Wasn't home long before I went to meet my dad and drive the both of us to Indiana to see my niece in her school's production of Frozen the musical.  We left early to meet my sister BIL and nephew for lunch before the musical. Was glad we went to the matinee performance as it was still light out when we got back

Was tired after driving about 70 miles each way, so didn't do much the rest of the day except watch some more of Das Rosenkavalier

Today will do the cooking for the week before church.  After church will do some additional grocery shopping and finish the bread I started on Friday.  Also want to check out more pickleball courts, I have been checking out one near me but despite game times listed online I've never seen anyone playing there

Will be much colder today, in the upper 30s

Good morning!

Joe, hope you have a nice Sunday.

Ado, hope your dog is okay.

Not much going on.  Heading to hot yoga.  Weather has been hot but supposedly a "cold front" is coming.

It's kinda cold in the house; it is supposed to get up to 71 today; partly cloudy with 40% chance of rain. I am out of coffee, but have just enough for this morning (!) so I will have to go out in a little while, after Nannie is up and in her chair.

Will be back after a while.....

Hello all!

Joe, I just read the Met's synopsis of Der Rosenkavalier.  What company is performing, and in what language?  What do you think of it?

Tweety, enjoy the day!

Yesterday I was finally able to reach the organizer of the festival we want to attend in June.  I'd had trouble getting the music camp ticket I wanted, and my previous emails had gone unanswered, as had an email to the organizer.  I reached him via FB Messenger.  Turns out I had the wrong email address for the organizer!  He gave me the correct one, and I re-sent the last email I'd sent to the festival site.  He confirms he DID get that!  And, while I still was unable to order the music camp ticket, he will be contacting his web designer, with the description of the issue (dh and I located the spot on the ordering page where the problem occurred consistently), AND, I tried to order tickets using two different browsers -- mainstream browsers, not some obscure browsers -- and the issue occurred with both.  The organizer tried to order, and his went through fine; he uses DuckDuckGo (dh had never heard of that browser, I have).  Anyway, he assured me I could, if worse comes to worst, purchase the music camp at the gate when we pull in; would save me a spot!  So, I am happy!

We had a nice Zoom yesterday afternoon, with our two sons.  Oldest works today at the bar and grill, which will probably be crazy busy because of St. Patrick's Day.  Well, he should get good tips!

I need to finish the laundry and go to the grocery store, and pay a couple bills.

Have a good day!

Good afternoon. Another nice day here, I rode my bike to breakfast and it was brisk, temp wise, but quite nice after we ate, so I took a longer route. I poked around in the yard, creating a little fence out of tree prunings to discourage the dogs from using a flower bed as a toilet. I made up some macaroni salad at dh's request. It's just salad mac, green pepper, pimento, American cheese, mayo, and salt and white pepper. dh insists mine tastes better than his. I have procrastinating making a phone call to interview someone for a newsletter article. Ugh, I hate calling people I don't really know. And it's Sunday, and I'll do it tomorrow. I hope.

I hope Dory is okay. Perhaps she has a cyst that will rupture and heal? We had an ornery old cat that had one. Dd volunteered to drive him to the vet. He escaped from the box she was transporting him in, tried to climb out the car window, and the cyst burst, getting pus and cat hair all over dd. The vet assessed him and decided no more action was needed.

What a story, nursej22, about an ornery cat!  But I believe it!  I'll bet, though, that the cyst was painful, and despite that, cat chose to escape the box and perform the gymnastics that burst the cyst!  I'm sure, too, cat felt better after the cyst had drained.

This morning one of our cats jumped up on the bed after dh fed them their small canned-food treat, and proceeded to vomit up what she had just eaten.  Thanks, Abita!!  We got it cleaned up, of course.  I just had to shake my head...

I read in the bedroom for a bit while dh took a nap after lunch.  Once he was up, I rotated the laundry and made some lentil soup.  Also paid some bills.  So, I wasn't a COMPLETE sloth today!  Dh expressed concern that his fleece-lined sweats (in the wash now) will shrink in the dryer.  Dr. Google says yes, unless washed in cold water (which we did) and hung to dry -- which we will not do, as he wants to wear them tonight.  We will put in dryer on low heat, add a dry towel, and cross our fingers!

Have a good evening!
