Happy Pride Month Tweety and NJ22

Stars I can understand the frustration, you'd hoped things would change more

Ado I've found the number of shoes owned can vary greatly depending upon the person

Sounds like a nice day Dianah

Left the house early to do the donut fundraiser with the gay group.  Was there about 3 hours, helped with packaging the donuts and putting the toppings on, then helped with the cleanup.  Quite a lot of work, although thing wound down early as the rain reduced the number of people at the farmer's market

Rest of the day was fairly ordinary.  Went out to lunch with dad, exercised and watched part of Svengoolie (the movie was only OK)

Today I have to be assisting minister at church, so I have to get there a bit early.  When I come home I'll do the cooking for the week.  Will try to ride my bike on the Prairie Path, though it may prove too wet from all the rain yesterday

Will be a nice day, mid 70s with no rain expected

My dad was very active with his union

I was active in my union as a rep. A very special position ,,,I had a target on my back when the Associate Dean decided SHE was going to group the students for verbal  feedback,(mid term) despite years of  established student evaluations (in our contracts)  , the union agreed, with me as she was going to do a verbal  format.

they are going to pay the TV service and WiFi bill, which will be a bill I no longer have to pay ($186.++)

I don't know where you live (including everyone on this site) but we had some joy when getting rid of Comcast for TV (we still have it for internet.) We put up an indoor antenna  and get NBC and some other channels.  We have so enjoyed seeing free Movies on Kanopy, Hoopla, and we have subscribed to Netflix. Last night (we are old) we watched the first episode of Columbo. Loved it.  I watch a lot of movies about cults (Psych minor here). All of this costs less than a Comcast TV internet subscription.

We also use an antennae for free TV and since there is no community wifi or cable internet service available in this area, we use cellphone data to create an internet Hotspot for our television.  We pay for Netflix and Prime streaming is a benefit of NEB's fondness for remote shopping.  Our kids play for our Hulu and Paramount access.

I love content about cults.  The beginning of my career was inpatient state psychiatric hospital nursing.  I worked in the male lock down unit, but because I was a young male nurse in the late 1970s, I got to visit nearly all of the floors in all of the buildings.  I also enjoy watching the documentaries and examination of cults.  It's a timely subject.

I absolutely advocate that people cut their ties to cable providers.  They really won't miss anything.

Send me the titles of your favorites,,, The one I watched over 2 days was "Dancing for the Devil." Netflix

If you have questions I might be able to answer about "cutting cable"  We watch something  we enjoy every evening. I know my husband misses his "golf channel" but try as I might he never gives me any specifics on getting it.  Now it is up to him.

We watched a documentary on Sean Puffy Combs , P Diddiy on Tubi (free). It was about an hour and a half long....maybe 3 commercial breaks. It was interesting how his career went from J Lo. to others like Justin Bieber to now ??
