Good morning!
Joe, glad to hear your father's symptoms are better.
My insomnia got the best of me starting around 5AM and just got up at 5:30. I probably got six hours of sleep so I guess I'm good or I might take a nap. We'll see.
Making some lentils and a chickpea dish. Hot yoga class done. Didn't get too horribly hot though. Chilly 50 degrees this morning. Will stay in the 60's, a bit below normal.
My dog alarm barked at 3:40 AM, so I went downstairs and yes, Nannie was sitting in her recliner in total darkness. She didn't know how long she'd been up, nor why she got up. She 'didn't know' it was still the middle of the night and no sun was shining. I got her back to bed and told her to try to sleep some more. I don't know what is going on with her except dementia disorientation. At least she is not trying to go outside! It was freezing again last night.
The high today is supposed to be between 52 and 55, partly cloudy, no rain. Tomorrow the high will be all of 42 degrees! Geeze!
Don't have any plans for today. The dishes have already been done. And it depends on if Nannie is wet or not, whether I do any laundry. I am hoping she doesn't get restless today; it was nice yesterday afternoon when she slept a lot.
I did sleep well after I got her back to bed, so I feel pretty rested. But, alas, it is time to roust Nannie outta the bed and get her dressed and out to the recliner. Tally-ho!
Glad your dad's starting to feel better, Joe.
the church service was brief this morning and the choir didn't do the anthem because the pastor and her husband were sick.
I've done little else. Twin B forgot his work badge last night so I drove it to him at 11pm and there was already a light frost forming. Gma is restless, keeps moving the coffee table to line it up properly and picking up/collecting items from everywhere. Including my glasses. I prefer to have no glasses on when I read or use my phone and tend to just set my glasses down on the table next to me. Hubs keeps telling me I can't do that if I don't want her to grab them. I don't know what all she is into now. I've said before it's like having a giant toddler. Except toddlers occasionally listen.
I guess I should get things ready for the work week. Good night!
Hi. I am glad to see Joe's dad on the mend, finally.
We still haven't had a hard frost here, yet. But it's cool and damp and I don't like it.
We stopped for tacos for dinner. I had a veggie soft taco that was pretty good. It had cabbage instead of lettuce and toasted pumpkin seeds. Nice and crunchy.
I have to keep my glasses away from the dogs. The little one will chew on anything she can get in her mouth. Dh left his leather belt and the booger dog chewed off the tip.

Hi TMB
Ado my dad used to have a piano, but ended up using it only rarely
Dianah glad you were able to catch the end of the performance
NJ22 glad the weather was good enough there to be outside
Skipped bird watching due to the cold. So instead in the morning went to a new event with the over 50 group in the northern suburbs. Was very good, just a small group but very good conversation, and a very friendly group. Is a pretty far drive about 45 to 50 minutes each way, but shows a lot of potential
Rest of the day was quieter. Went out to lunch at a local place. Talked with dad, his symptoms have greatly improved with the fidaxomicin. Exercised and watched part of Svengoolie
Today will do some meal prep before church, after church will do the cooking for the week. Will risk the crowds of shoppers to scout a location for the over 50 group event I'm planning later this month. Other than that should be a quiet day
Another cold day here, in the upper 20s
