Summer 2023 University of South Alabama MSN

Published

Hi! Anyone else impatiently waiting to hear from South Alabama about Summer acceptance?

Specializes in Pediatrics.

What speciality did you apply for? Did you do early action? It's possible they just haven't sent out acceptances for that speciality yet!

Congrats on your acceptance! I'm in the process of applying to USA now.. curious about the personal goal statement being APA formatted.. does this include a title page?

I did not do a title page!

FNP! And yes, I applied to the early deadline. I'm hoping they're just a little behind and that I'll hear something by the end of the week. ?

I did the title page and pulled up the apa format guidelines online and followed it to a T.( been a minute since I wrote in apa format) And I do not have to take the writing class yay. Good luck! If you have any more questions let me know!

Right, I did all that when I submitted my application and everything was verified when I submitted everything. The good news was she found the application. Not sure if it was really lost or she just didn't see it when she looked for it and if/how that plays into when I'll hear about a decision.

Finger crossed you hear something soon! I'm wondering if they are sending out notifications based on specialty. There were quite a few specialties you could apply to. Which specialty did you apply to?

Hello! I'm also waiting for the decision here. I applied to the FNP/enp specialty a few days after the priority dead line, but everything's been received and verified. I even checked with school about 2 weeks ago and they said I was good to go. Hoping to hear from them soon

I applied to the FNP program too. I talked to them a couple of weeks ago because my application status said "transcripts not received" turns out they had everything they needed and she told me I would hear something Feb 1 but I haven't seen anything yet. Maybe they are just behind a couple of days and we'll hear something early in the week?

Mine said the same thing and that's why I emailed them to see if there was anything additional I had to submit but they said it was all good. I wasn't told I was going to hear something Feb 1 tho...this waiting game's really giving me an anxiety!

how long did it take in Nursing Cas to change from complete to verified?

Not long. Maybe a week.

I think mine only took a couple days.

All applications submitted but the email says 8 weeks after the deadline to hear anything? That sounds like a long time... do you "hear" something via email prior to getting snail mail?

It took 8 weeks from the early admission date to get an acceptance email. Then I recommend my office acceptance letter in the mail the following week from the university.

The email was from the nursing department.
