Anyone else in this with me? Did you get your email about the project? I'm trying to secure a mentor by next week.
Alot of this stuff they give us is the same stuff that my co-workers undertake for their Master's Degrees. They have used many of the same books we have used. Other Bachelor students (nurses) from other schools don't have to do any of the same things we have to do.
So what you're saying is that when I go back for my Master's it can't be much worse then what I'm doing now? LOL!
Hi!
It's nice to see some support with this class. Prior to finding this support site, I thought I was the only one lost.
I just finished my DB... took me forever! Then after I posted it, others posted half as much as I did. Maybe I'm thinking too much into it.
The same with this indirect clinical project. I'm lost. I have a mentor... but what really are they to do? Nothings really spelled out.
Last class!!! Just signed up today for Summer Graduation... The end is near!!!
I agree, I wish I had stumbled upon this site prior to the end. I've really had some moments of frustration with this program. But..the end is near.
I am viewing hte mentor as someone we talk to about the project, throw ideas at, communicate, etc. If you look ahead at the assignments there are areas for you to explain what you and your mentor have done each week. at least in week 2.
Has anyone emailed the TA regarding which KSAs we use or does it matter? Just wondering before I send her an email.
I haven't gotten that far but your KSAs have to do with whatever QSEN goal you have chosen (I think) and they have to be in your own words. I asked my TA if the QSEN definition and KSAs were supposed to be generalized according to the QSEN goal or specifically related to the topic you have chosen. The response: The QSEN definition is basically just describing the QSEN topic in your own words. The KSAs will relate to your specific topic.

I am just beginning to start the assignment due Sunday night. This class is intimidating to me. I will feel better once I see how the TA grades.
