I've always worked summer school, and I find that its pretty relaxing. Most of the kids don't even come to the HR at all, and its usually less kids in summer school than the normal school year. Look on the bright side: You get to work little hours, while making extra money. I would always have time to read novels and etc. when I worked summer school, it was like getting paid for nothing ! Good luck with your decision, and hopefully you'll get your school that way you can start making health records for the new students registering for the fall.
I loved working summer school ! I planned to work summer school this year however, that wasn't possible due to other reasons.

Apparently not enough nurses are interested in working summer school, so a plea has been sent out to the nurses in my district to please please work! If it is like last year, it is only for the first 6 weeks of summer and only 8-12. I would get about an extra $2k for working the whole thing.
I did have plans to go out of town for a wedding, but it is something I could do for a weekend rather than spend the whole week like I had planned. I have no other plans that would matter, but I was looking forward to decompressing. I just can't decide if I want to pull the trigger. I am probably not guaranteed to get my own school for the summer, although chances are that I would. I just don't know if I want to commit. Any thoughts?
