I applied to Piedmont residency program and have a phone interview coming up...do any of you guys know if they have a contract stating you must work for the for "x" amount of time post residency??

I was told no contract, but they want a verbal commitment of one year on the assigned unit.

Are the penalties the same as if it was a written contract? Just trying to weigh out options! Thanks

I’m not entirely sure. Could you or someone else call the recruiter and say that you are looking to apply for a residency program and wanted to ask about the contract?

Can anyone tell me about how long it took for HR to contact them after their interview? I just had mine yesterday (someone pulled acceptance of their offer from the residency so there was a spot left) and just wanted to know about how long to expect! Thanks

Hey! I want to say it took about two weeks or close to two weeks to hear back from HR!

@nickyk I received my offer later that day, but only because I asked HR to get back to me the same day since I had another offer and needed to let them know that day as well. But the HR lady said it usually takes a few days to get your offer letter because it takes them a while to get the paperwork together and with COVID I’m sure it may be a little slower. Good luck and I hope you got the job!

I have my interview for the ICU/CTICU this week! Any advice from somebody who has already gone through the process? I’m super anxious about those case scenarios and don’t know what to expect!
