2011 Summer New Grad Applications

I know when I was searching for RN Residency Programs it was tough--so I thought to post the application deadlines for everyone to have an opportunity to apply.

Whittier Presbyterian---Application is up now for 3 different units not sure when it's ending.

CHLA---Application is up now and I believe it ends next week

White Memorial---Application is up now and I believe this also ends next week

Mission Hospital in Orange County---spoke with the recruiter and look out for their application in May

USC---Application is up May 1-May 14 on http://www.usc.edu/jobs

Torrance Memorial will be up in May or June they don't know yet

St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton---Application up now until May 30 but it says to apply before then because they will notify you of your application status by May 15

I didn't see where White Memorial is accepting for their new grad program. It said it begins the first week of march and ends in august...maybe I'm missing something? This is REALLY helpful btw...thx!! :)

it should be posted on there job search engine-I filled it out Friday afternoon and they just posted it that day. Try to look again, I found it on indeed.com searching under RN, New Grad. They offer it only twice a year one in March and one in April because it is a 22 week program. Hope you find it :)

-St. Vincent's application is posted

-Verdugo Hills Hospital L&D application ups

Verdugo Hills closed their new grad position quick! Does anyone know if they already hired someone? How many applicants they received? Etc...

Really? Its real quick to close the application I think it was posted for just a bout a week.:coollook: I also applied to Verdugo Hills, But haven't heard from them too. :idea:

I found this in USC website Requirements

"To qualify for the program, you must have less than 1 year of acute care hospital experience as a licensed RN when the program begins March 7th, 2011.

and i'm a bit confuse on whether you need to have experience or is it designed for us newgrads... I know this posting was for the previous cohort but still wondering...I also know that you might not have the answer to this but just thought I would ask... BTW tnx so much for your post...:o

new grad programs are designed for ppl with very little or no experience at all-as new grads the only experience we have is our clinical rotations and you must have your RN License prior to the start of the program but can apply without.
