How many of you have applied for the 2013 Accelerated BSN/MSN program at JHU SON? I applied early decision and completed my phone interview on the 26th. They said they will start making decisions calls around the December 15th which is a Saturday so I'm sure we won't hear anything until the 17th or later.
Is anyone else as anxious as I am to hear back from them? I even made a vision board on my fridge that reads: I WILL GET ACCEPTED INTO THE JOHNS HOPKINS BSN/MSN PROGRAM STARTING SUMMER 2013. Positive thoughts work, right?
FYI: I also applied to Columbia, Ohio State, and UCLA.
I finally got my official letter in the mail and did get into the Fall BSN/MSN program for FNP afterall! It's a $500 deposit due "within four weeks of the offer." My letter is dated March 1st, so I guess that would be April 1st. There are 2 "Accepted Students" Days: One on Friday, March 22, and the other on Friday, April 19. !

Mine says May 1st too and did not include thing about scholarships. I e-mailed one of the admissions people to ask about financial aid and the scholarships and they said that if you submitted your stuff to financial aid that they should be sending your estimate by mid March and this would include any scholarships you received.
Hi all! I received my call for admission to fall ABSN program around 230pm so they are calling today!! So excited!!!! They also told me over the phone I had been chosen for the coverdell scholarship. Seriously SO SO SO excited!!! I had been preparing for the worst especially since I hadn't applied anywhere else. Can't wait to meet everyone!!!
CNP, do you know if they are still going to be calling through the rest of the week and next? Or just Friday and Monday? Only one person on the message board got a call yesterday, so I assume they didn't make many calls...
I wasn't at work yesterday but as far as I know they are making calls/ sending out letters everyday (minus today d/t the snow day). Not everyone posts on this board so it could very well be they called folks who aren't on allnurses. Another possible hold up could be if you are being considered for a scholarship.
