How many of you have applied for the 2013 Accelerated BSN/MSN program at JHU SON? I applied early decision and completed my phone interview on the 26th. They said they will start making decisions calls around the December 15th which is a Saturday so I'm sure we won't hear anything until the 17th or later.
Is anyone else as anxious as I am to hear back from them? I even made a vision board on my fridge that reads: I WILL GET ACCEPTED INTO THE JOHNS HOPKINS BSN/MSN PROGRAM STARTING SUMMER 2013. Positive thoughts work, right?
FYI: I also applied to Columbia, Ohio State, and UCLA.
Yes, fall and summer should hear today and each class consists of around 150 students, but a good amount already know due to being early decision so I'm thinking about 200 phone calls would need to be made today, assuming that around 100 spots (50 summer, 50 fall) are already allocated to early decision students... that's just a guesstimate though so who really knows
Just to clarify.....Notifications are STARTING today. Not everyone is going to hear back today. Summer is capped at 130 and Fall is 155 (130 regular, 25 Clinical Nurse Residency) If you do not hear anything today don't assume the worst.
Hey cnp- thanks for the info...how do you know they only got through some of the batch? Are we not insane to think we might still get a call next week? Why'd they have to close early? I think they are trying to give us panic attacks now! ;-) Any and all info you have is greatly appreciated!
I am a student worker in admissions so I can verify that admissions staff had a conference from 1pm onward so they got out as many calls as they could this morning. People will still be notified next week. I know it SUCKS, I was in your position last year...just try to relax.
Cnp I heard my news from a voicemail, but seeing from other posts, MSN decisions have been made. Would you know if it's possible to do the BSN and matriculate into the MSN?
Aboslutely. You can apply to an MSN program while in the BSN portion.

Hi everyone! I got my call today that I was accepted to the Fall BSN and MSN FNP program. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a facebook page started for accepted students for fall? And CONGRATS to everyone!!!!
