How many of you have applied for the 2013 Accelerated BSN/MSN program at JHU SON? I applied early decision and completed my phone interview on the 26th. They said they will start making decisions calls around the December 15th which is a Saturday so I'm sure we won't hear anything until the 17th or later.
Is anyone else as anxious as I am to hear back from them? I even made a vision board on my fridge that reads: I WILL GET ACCEPTED INTO THE JOHNS HOPKINS BSN/MSN PROGRAM STARTING SUMMER 2013. Positive thoughts work, right?
FYI: I also applied to Columbia, Ohio State, and UCLA.

Oh man it's hard to relax but I am grateful for you, CNP. I was devastated (no exaggeration) when I didn't hear. It's good to know all is not lost. Okay a little dramatic here :) But thank you for keeping us informed!
So what order were they calling in? Date of application submission?
I hear you healer's art, I feel a little heartbroken (in the unrequited love ie acceptance to JHU). I was at work in a busy restaurant, hoping my phone would vibrate through my apron with an acceptance call, but no such luck. at least there's still a slight chance. if not JHU material I'll be at Thomas Jefferson in the fall :-) "making my move" as eloquently stated by Tom Cruise in Risky Business when his character is not Princeton material. Because the dream is to be a nurse practioner and the rest are justools to get there.
I'm in for FNP for this fall! I have a question for current students. I noticed on the website that the 17 month BSN program ends in December. Does the MSN portion begin the following January? Thanks!
Oh no meep, sorry if that was misleading. They sent me my admissions letter via email after they made the phone call, and I didn't see the scholarship information on the letter anywhere/it didn't seem like it would fit, but maybe it would be in my actual packet that is being mailed to my apartment :)
PS - I have no doubt that you all will receive phone calls Monday and/or Tuesday as well. Keep the faith and stay positive, because I really doubt that they are NOWHERE near done! It will come soon! You are all competitive, strong applicants so stay confident in yourselves!

Oh gosh I hope that's not true. I was okay with waiting until Monday but a couple of weeks?! Have any summer people gotten in yet? I feel like everyone that was accepted today were Fall admits which seems counter intuitive. Did you guys all apply way early? I applied and interviewed in November...
