How many of you have applied for the 2013 Accelerated BSN/MSN program at JHU SON? I applied early decision and completed my phone interview on the 26th. They said they will start making decisions calls around the December 15th which is a Saturday so I'm sure we won't hear anything until the 17th or later.
Is anyone else as anxious as I am to hear back from them? I even made a vision board on my fridge that reads: I WILL GET ACCEPTED INTO THE JOHNS HOPKINS BSN/MSN PROGRAM STARTING SUMMER 2013. Positive thoughts work, right?
FYI: I also applied to Columbia, Ohio State, and UCLA.
I applied for fall entry BSM/MSN program too. Initially i applied for early decision but there was a mistake in receiving one of my transcripts so they placed me in the regular decision pool. I was super sad

Hi everyone, I got an email today for an interview for the BSN/MSN program. It says that I am supposed to interview with an admission counselor. Does everyone get an interview for this program and is there a second follow up interview as well? I have been reading this thread for sometime now and it appears some people had one or two interviews.
afent, what program are you applying for? I had three interviews, but none with an admissions counselor, although I know many applicants had their first interview with an admissions counselor.
Still interviewing? The deadline was Jan 15 for applications for regular decisions. What do you mean still? I was told they are just starting for regular decision applicants. Have you already interviewed and if so how did it go? How many times did you have to interview?
That actually makes sense in the grand scheme of things. I've been waiting for a while now because I interviewed in Decemeber, so it feels like its been a while. They only interview once with an admissions counselour unless you applied to the MPH/Midwifery program (pretty sure that has been the consensus)
Okay good to know. Thanks. The person I spoke to on the phone today said that decisions should be made late Feb early March for BSN/MSN Fall 2013, is that what you applied to as well?
afent, the website states that they operate under rolling admissions, and a lot of us had interviewed much earlier (read: last October-December), so that is why we were surprised. I think my interview was with an admissions counselor but I honestly can't remember! I bet that we will probably hear the last week of February.
