Suffolk County Community College Fall 2019

Published

Hi I'm applying to Suffolk's nursing program for Fall 2019. Just giving room for everyone to chat as we get closer to the deadline ( Jan 15 ) , can anyone offer any information in term of points for acceptance, available seating and difficulty of the program ?

Hi everyone! Quick question, has anyone started the ATI NurseLogic 2.0 yet??

No I haven’t yet. I’m itching too. All I’ve been doing is reading

It’s a bit confusing, I didn’t know if anyone else came across any issues while doing it. I wanted to get it out of the way before dosages and calculations, is that what you have been reading??

I got my hands on a older fundamentals textbook. I did do the setup for Ati like but I haven’t bought the package yet.

Hi, i was just seeing if anyone heard anything from nursing first yet?

No direct communication, but emails and reminders. Has anyone purchased the ATI/CoursePoint Package yet ? If so what is it like ?

@Mamato3boys they sent their decisions through email back in June

I bought the Ati package it comes with a bunch of textbooks. The modules are a little boring so far.

Ok thank you!

Congratulations Class of 2021/2022! (depending on what program you are in). My name is Angela Hurtle and I am class of 2020 and I am in the nursing first program as well. I just wanted to pop in because I know last year when I was in your position I had so many questions and everything was very confusing. We all were comparing notes, not sure where this adventure was going to take us. I can answer questions based on my experience, but administration things do change and vary based on campus so don't hold what I say as absolute. I will check back and see if I can answer any questions you may have. Good luck on your journey, buckle in because you are in for a great adventure!
