Hello everyone I am starting a thread for the 2020 Spring nursing program at Suffolk Community College. We can update our rubric and Teas scores. It is a little early but I wish everyone the best!

I wanted to get into the straight RN program but I am assuming I missed the cut off so they automatically applied me to the LPN which I do not plan to do... I didn’t apply to LPN but I guess they transferred my application over.

the Lpn and Rn part time had the same cut off date. If you applied to straight rn and weren’t accepted then they give you a second chance and offer you the LPN. This is new because the LPN program just shot up to 150 seats

Yeah I am actually already in my sophomore year in a nursing program at a private school but my tuition and commute are killing me so that’s why I was hoping to get into Suffolk.. I live not to far from Ammerman. Oh well I guess I will forever be in debt lol.

I’m so sorry to hear that. Non community colleges or non state colleges are simply outrageous. The next cutoff is January 15, please don’t give up.

I’m in at Grant for RN evening !!! Congrats to everyone. And for whoever did not get in, don’t give up, this was not our first time for many of us.
Also, can someone share a bit of info regarding the BLS certification? Where can I sign up for it ? Thank you !!

I currently work in the hospital so that’s where I get my BLS but when I didn’t work there I went through outside companies like Long Island Rescue

OMG!

I got in!!!

I was so convinced I didn’t make the cut since I had no luck at NCC last year, but I went to checked my PO Box just now & there it was...my acceptance letter!

If you were accepted into the bridge it’s only during the day.
