successfully doing sciences over the summer

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hey ladies and gents! I'm debating whether or not it's a good idea for me to take anatomy this summer. I know there's a lot to memorize and I really want to learn the subject as thoroughly as possible and that is making me question whether it's wise to take a major science over the summer. Chem would've been easier over the summer because it's mainly problem solving (I'm in it now)but anatomy is "harder" because of the sheer amount of material to memorize. Can anyone who's taken it over the summer give me any words of wisdom?

About ten years ago, I took A&P l and ll over 12 weeks (6 weeks each) in summer. I remember it was pretty intense because I had to memorize tons in a short period of time. But it was worth it because I needed these grades in the following fall to apply for a nursing school. If you are a serious student and have extra time before hand, you can start studying A&P on your own. You don't have to wait for the summer sessions to start.
