Stupid note cards(index cards) ? (want DARK lines)

I am VERY ridiculously picky about the darkness of the lines on my index cards. I used to buy a brand that I really liked, but now all I can find are Oxfords and the lines are very light. Oh yeah, I found some at Staples too, but didn't like them. I've looked at Office Max, Walmart, K-mart, Target, and Office Depot too. Whatever they had didn't have darker lines. It seems like it's possible that the kind I used before were Mainstays which would have been purchased at Walmart, but they don't carry them now and I'm not even sure those were the brand anyway. I know this is a completely anal thing to be bothered with, but that's just the way I am LOL!!!! Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Buy blanks ones and print the lines out on a color printer.

Try online office supply stores.

Ok this is going to sound cheap....but I prefer getting them at the dollar store. The lines are much darker and I like them better. :)

Cheap is a good thing sometimes. My favorite highlighters come from a dollar store.

Hey!! MY Kaylee was born 9/4/97!! lol

OK, back to topic:

Search online stores, do google searches, or if you know for sure what the brand is, see if Wal-mart, Staples or another office supply store will special order them for you.

Marie_LPN- Nice idea, but I don't want to take the time for that or the money. I do appreciate you taking the time to give me an idea though! :-)

Fun2Care- I don't know for sure what brand it is. That's one of my problems. The problem with ordering a different brand online is that I won't know if the lines are darker or not until I get them and I definitely don't want to spend $5-$6 shipping on lots of different sets of cards until I find them, ya know? That's cool about your Kaylee!!!

JessicaGmz - I am ON MY WAY to go look at them. YIPPEEE!!!

Sort of related.. Anyone know of a software tool that enables one to make their own index card question/answer?

Microsoft Word USED to have that, where you just entered in the style no. for the index card.

Thanks so much everyone for your help. I found some at Dollar General that are darker than any others I've seen. Still not the darkest ones I've ever had, but way way better than Oxford brand. Thanks again!!!
