Studying Tips for Anatomy

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I'm a pre nursing student currently taking Anatomy. I've done pretty well in my other classes so far but Anatomy has got the best of me. What tips might other students have to pass Anatomy. [emoji57]

It's definitely a challenging class. It's a lot of information to comprehend and memorize! What helps me is making sure I am in every single lecture, spending extra time in lab, and making sure I study some for A&P every day. Cramming DOES NOT work for me for this class, so I spend some time each day reviewing. I make flashcards from my class notes, and then print out images of the models, label them, and glue those on flashcards as well. I've also found it helpful to google blank diagrams of whatever body system we are studying and practice labeling those. I think with anatomy it really is about putting in the study time! You have to find what works best for you and then commit at least 1 hour each day to studying! Good luck
