Hi I am taking the TEAS version 4 in a few weeks. I'm very nervous about the science section. Does anyone know of good things to study besides the manual? I also have the flashcards! What areas of science should I study?
Thanks!!!
I don't know if you've taken your TEAS yet or not. A friend and I are taking version 4 this Friday 9/24. We took the online practice test for version 4 and there are questions on food chain, rocks and tectonic plates. These items are not in the version V (5) study guide. Also know conversions, i.e centimeters to inches, kilometers to yards, grams to pounds, etc. And chemical bonds. We are also taking version V next month for another school. Other places on this blog recommend McGraw-Hill for studying for science. Another good site for basic stuff is www.chem4kids.com. On that site you can also link to physics and earth science, all basic stuff that is good to review. You can purchase online practice tests for version 4 and 5 at www.atitesting.com but they aren't cheap! Good Luck :)

i think the science part is what threw everyone off, the v4 book didnt help out at all for the science section. but yeah if u study out of the version 5 book u should be pretty set for it. in the v4 test theres question about tetonic plates, astrology, alot of questions on atoms and protons. i remember just saying to myself *** is this! there was nothing in the book about that. dont stress alot on anatomy casuse there was only bout 3 or 4 questions on that. i take my teas test in october so i have been stuying sinces june just to make sure i cover everything i need. the best advice is give yourself enough time to study and dont stress, and in case u dont score high enough just try to remember the questions on the test and write them down when u r done so u know what to go back and look up so ur prepare for the 2nd time around.
