Studying for the Neonatal CCRN

Published

I have 2.7 years Level 3 NICU experience. I have my NRP book, My S.T.A.B.L.E. book and I purchased the Core Curriculum for Neonatal Nursing 5th edition book. Any other suggestions to assist in the process.

Thanks

I know you already have the Core Curriculum and all these books are expensive. I really like the Core Curriculum questions and answer book. It's not very big but it covers questions that were extremely similar to what I got on the actual exam. It gives rationales for each correct and incorrect answer. I found that extremely helpful to focus on my weak areas. For example our hospital doesn't keep kids with serious heart conditions so after doing poorly on the cardiac questions I found a few websites to study up on normal and abnormal heart circulation and basics of congenital heart defects.

There is a book of practice questions that really helped me.

Is this the book you're talking about?

Hey there.

I'm wondering if you have taken the exam and if you have any helpful advice to share?

I am studying with the Core Curriculum.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
