i have to say honestly....
i didn't focus until nursing classes were over, including graduation ceremony.
then i picked up books, and tests, i carried mosby flash cards, which had questions on them...i glanced here and there for about 2 weeks; until my review class started.
my review class was 2 weeks long, and during that time....i went nuts, i studied as if my life depended on it. after that, my test was scheduled 4 days later, which again cont. to study like mad. so over all, i studied about a month, 2 weeks being the most serious.
passed at 75 questions...
I graduated May 17, went to Disneyworld May 18-21, had my NCLEX review May 23-25 and starting May 26 I studied everyday up until my test on June 17. I did TONS AND TONS of questions, if I had to guess it would be about 5000. I used numerous different guides and TRUELy felt ready to take my boards. I found out June 20 I had passed, my license had been issured on my son's 4th birthday June 19, got my licnese in the mail yesterday
Good luck
Denise, RN
i had planned mine months ahead. but just kicked it a month before the test. then i buckled it down quite a bit a week before the test. i used kaplan and saunders. they were very useful. i took nclex-rn last june 16, 2006. i found out a few days ago. i am so blessed that i passed it on my first try. looking forward to see my license in the mail soon.
god bless

Hey, I'm taking the NCLEX in September...just wondering how long you each studied for to take the exam? TB
