Study for NclexRN

I need recommendations about wish is the best bank to study for Nclex RN

I took the NCLEX RN today 8/7/19. I had 75 questions. Critical thinking is key. I had like 18-21 SATA and a lot of prioritization questions. I did the pvt trick and got the good pop up so hopefully I passed. I used hurst review which I found to be really helpful. I watched ALL of their online videos. Then I took SO many practice questions on their website. They are worded exactly like the NCLEX. The quizzes are under “customizor” and you can go over all the categories. Then after u feel comfortable with that there’s 4 big tests that are 125 each under “simulator” and those really prepare you for the NCLEX. They recommend making 77/125 on each one. Don’t feel discouraged if you get a low score, read the rationales. I made 75/125, 82/125, 79/125 and 87/125. I also watched a lot of RegisterednurseRN videos on YouTube. Good luck ?

I only used kaplan and passed in 96 questions. definitely recommend it..a lot of the qbank questions were much more difficult than the actual NCLEX. i’ve heard great things about uworld too. I heard uworld has better rationales for content though, kaplan is mostly strategy based. So i’d decide based off of what you feel you need more help with, content or strategy. You definitely have to know your content, but NCLEX is HUGE on prioritization/strategy. You can’t go wrong with either!

I used uworld only. 30 day sub. No assessment tests and passed in 75. Uworld rationales are great and with pictures for those of us who are visual learners. I would do about 25Qs a day. I did 75 twice to mix it up and replicate the NCLEX. I will recommend that to anyone. I failed my first time with all 265q.

I also used uworld and passed my first time on 75 questions. I focused a lot on priority questions. Just make sure, whatever you choose, practice questions every day, but don't over due it! I did anywhere from 50-100 questions a day and read every rationale. The rationale's on Uworld are great.
