Hello, I was hoping for some advice.
I recently moved to Georgia and have a B.S. in Speech Language Pathology and a M.Sc. in Neuroscience. I've made the decision to go back to school and complete a BSN in order to become a research nurse.
I'm looking for a traditional or accelerated BSN program in the State of Georgia where nursing students find they are most happy. I want to find the right program for me and I know that program would be in a supportive learning environment. I'm not afraid an academically challenging program or of working hard. That's a MUST in life.
I know nursing school admission is competitive and I don't want the fear of not getting in to the "right school" to overshadow the "right program" for me. I just wouldn't want to end up in a program where I was in constant fear of failing or of being weeded out. That wouldn't foster a good learning environment for anyone. I think the stress of doing well in school is enough for most people.
I would appreciate any advice you all have. Thanks!

I think a very obvious choice would be to try to get into Emory University nursing. Their program is extremely competitive though.

I recently graduated from Erudite Nursing Institute. The classes are very fast paced, but the instructors were helpful to me. There were only12 people in my class which was really nice, it gave more time for one on one instruction. I took the 7 week RN course and am very pleased with the results. I plan on returning to Erudite to get my BSN next year!
