What do CRNA schools think about getting your BSN online?

Nursing Students SRNA

If I get my ADN at a CC, then finish my BSN online, how do CRNA schools look upon that?

Is it a bad idea?

Do they like full 4-year BSN applicants better?

I am mystified why anyone would think there would be discrimination aginst those who do RN to BSN.

Its fine, they admit RN to BSN people all the time. In fact I can make a strong argument that the RN to BSN to CRNA has a huge advantage over the BSN to CRNA, assuming one can still start in an ICU right after nursing school

I doubt they discriminate, but you never know the preferences of someone sitting on the ad com. The route I took was ADN to BSN online and I'll be starting my program in August 2012.

How would they know that you even got a BSN online? Your degree will not say "online" on it. Also, at the end of the day you have more experience over someone who took 4 years to achieve their BSN. Just make sure you have a great GPA, GRE score, certifications, and your recommendations stand out.

My friend goes to Case Western and she got hers online. I don't really think it matters, but you could always call the schools youare interested in to see what they have to say.:)
