I was all set for an A in my current class and I went to check that it was posted and an I showed up instead of an A.
I emailed both my didactic and clinical instructors to get clarity on the issue. You see, I have all of my assignments and logs turned in. I'm really confused as to why this is happening. I'm hoping it's just a miscommunication or mistake.
My didactic instructor did email me back and referred me to the CI. I worked so hard to secure the pediatric preceptors I have lined up next quarter, due to start 8/31. It was a herculean task and if I have to postpone the quarter, there is no guarantee those sites will have an availability for me then.
I've worked so hard to have another roadblock.
I pray it will work out. It is nerve-wracking until it does.

I had an I one semester due to my clinical preceptor not turning in required paperwork, and it resolved about 3 weeks later after multiple phone calls and emails from the CI. I went on with my next semester without any interruption but every school is different. Call your CI and find out what the issue is. Good luck!
I spoke with her today. She thinks it was an oversight but it isn't resolved yet. I'm trying to remember to breathe.
Grade not changed but confirmation received that I can do the next quarter. Praise God.
From I to A finally. Thanks for listening!!
