Hello! I wanted to start a forum for anyone who's applied to the Mayo Clinic Student Nurse Extern Program for summer 2019 in Phoenix Arizona. I applied for the extern in Mayo Rochester last fall and got selected as an Alternate. I'm hoping to get Phoenix ?

I did my interview last week but I haven't heard anything back! I think we'll know by Friday/this weekend though

That's what I'm thinking, too...has your status changed to interview on the portal? I've read way too many of these threads and made myself paranoid lol I hope we both get it!

Mine hasn't...I'm hoping that was just something they did last year. No other years mentioned it. I seriously have the worst anxiety over waiting to hear back!

Yeah me neither :( What semester of nursing school are you in? Because 2 girls at my school got it but they're in their 3rd semester (I'm in my 2nd semester). I'm not sure if that plays a role in it buttttt I also know a girl who did it this past summer and had just finished her 3rd semester
