  1. Hi! Were they hired for Banner - Phoenix specifically? I have some friends who get hired in Thunderbird or Desert Medical Center but I haven't heard of anyone getting hired in Phoenix ? I really want to work there but since I applied in March I'm not sure why my application hasn't been reviewed.
  2. Has anybody heard anything from Banner Phoenix? My application has said "pending recruiter review" since the end of March :(
  3. Congratulations, that is so exciting! Would you mind describing the hiring process? For example, when they contacted you, when you got interviewed, how to prepare for the interview, etc. Thanks and CONGRATS again! @emilycaprio
  4. Mine has been under review since the 30th! Hoping to hear back from them sometime in April
  5. Hi all! I'm really hoping to get a job at Banner Phoenix in the ICU. My application says "under review". I thought I would just make this thread for everybody who is applying so can keep each other updated ? Good luck to everybody who is also applying!
  6. Hi! My application said "in review" when I checked in the morning but after I got the email it turned to "no longer being considered"! So I think it was just an automated update ?
  7. This is what the email said: "I am contacting you to let you know that Mayo Clinic Arizona has suspended the RN - Inpatient Nurse Resident Program-131509BR position. This decision was not easy. During the past few weeks, the Department of Nursing, along with Mayo Clinic Hospital Leadership, has diligently weighed all options regarding these programs. Our commitment to keeping the health and safety of our patients and staff, including you, was at the forefront of this decision. Please know that we remain committed to your nursing success. Any updates to the status of this program will be communicated through the Nursing information line at 480-342-0850. Stay safe and remember to always keep the needs of the patient as the focus of your nursing journey. Thank you for choosing nursing and thank you for choosing Mayo Clinic."
  8. I just received the email right now ? This is so sad!
  9. OMG no I didn't! Can you please copy and paste what it said?
  10. Same! I keep checking the status of my application too but nothing has changed ? Hopefully we hear something this week!
  11. Hi! Has anyone heard any updates?
  12. Hi! I just got an email saying that my application was forwarded to the hiring manager. Did anyone else get this email? Is it a good sign?
  13. I applied as well!! I'm excited to finally get the process started, good luck to all of you!
  14. Hello! I am currently in my last semester of nursing school and will be applying to Mayo Clinic. This would be such an amazing opportunity and it would be an honor to be accepted into the summer 2020 cohort. I've heard that this program is very competitive and difficult to get into without any previous healthcare experience (e.g. Mayo Clinic inter, CNA experience, etc.). I'm worried because I don't have experience other than my clinical rotations. I was wondering if any of you had any insight into if Mayo will hire people without experience / any other advice about increasing my chances of getting hired? Thank you!
