Student Malpractice Insurance...

Hi! I just learned state that I am in (and I'm sure a lot of others) require that all student nurses carry their own . Is the insurance that student nurse have the same that I might have as an RN? Also, about how expensive is it?

I am planning on getting it when I start school this fall. I believe in IL I was quoted 36.00/yr. Such a small price to pay for piece of mind!

Thanks, Anchored. Something was amiss with that site earlier, I guess. When I clicked that same link, it took me to a different page entirely that was not an application. Maybe the site was down for maintenance to something. It was $36.50 for me for PA. Maybe they raised the price $0.50, lol.
