My credit isn't terrible, it's just that most of my accounts have only been opened a few years. Does anyone know about any school loans that would give you a loan with "bad" credit (besides the stafford loan- they only give you enough to cover tuition). The reason I want to know is because I'm trying to figure out a way to stop working the rest of my time in nursing school.

Other than the federal stafford loans the others are credit based, and if you dont have the credit then you would need a co-borrower. Or if you are a member of a credit union they may offer loan programs with less strict credit terms.

or perkins loan if its offered to you, but if your working then i doubt you can get it.
Fun fact: People with jobs have a harder time paying for school then those without.

If you have 'bad' credit I wouldn't count on being able to get loans.
If you have good credit but not a lengthy history you can probably get one if you check local banks/credit unions.
Non-lengthy credit isn't looked at the same as 'bad' credit and money lenders DO look at more than your credit score.
