Dear ALL
I am only a few weeks into my first year as a student nurse and so far so good. I was wondering could anyone direct me towards a good book with regards to writing a care plan. I haven't got my first placement for another 8 weeks but I feel it would be a good idea to have a read so I am well prepared.
Secondly, I have yet to hear from the NHS bursary, have now downloaded the form myself! As I have a dependent I believe I may be entitled to a little more money on top of my bursary. However I have to provide my partners salary deatils- which is fime. But is it worth it, he is earning in the mid 20s- would they take into account the ammount of rent we pay etc?
Many thanks

Roper logan, Tierney book are good for care planning widely recongised aswell (are you in adult nursing) I can't remember the title but there book describes 12 or 13 activties of daily that we all use on daily basis. They give great examples of care plans I am sure you can find the book on amazon even reduced price or second hand.

i didnt get anything extra for having kids as im married but a lone parent would get extra
on my course you had to be over 26 to get extra money, and ven if you had your 26th birthday during the course your money didnt go up
dont know if this has changed
i only hope that its gone up a bit
