hi, i have recently passed my general nursing exams now waiting for a mark sheet to come next month .im struggling to get a gud job as a RN .It has been 5 months from the day i last appeared for my last practical exam.sum hospital rejected me bcoz of no exp , sum needed special references to get appointed and many other foolish reasons. i wanted to do crna n im so frustrated now so upset that i feel like wasted myself by becoming a nurse. All u experience ppl senior to me in all regards plz give me some useful advices that what should i do in this struggling phase of life .i dont feel like studing now cant concentrate on anything ,i desperately need a job rite now.In my last interview for RN post ,the interviewing doc ask me can u do intubation ? i have never seen my most senior nursing staff doing intubation alone ,all we have to do is to assist the doc during the procedure and in my opinion u cant ask a fresh graduate a Q? like this .What u ppl say abt this?

All you can do is keep trying. I am in SC and had to move back so I've been searching for 2 months and I have a yr of RN and 10months LPN. I just started getting call backs about 3 weeks ago. The hospitals I interviewed at said that they did have a hiring freeze, but the are starting to post more jobs and are starting to hire again. Just keep your head up. It is very discouraging, I know, Im there. But I just took a travel position and now everyone wants to call with interviews. But thats how it goes, once you start getting calls, you will become overwhelmed. I know I am.
where u from my dear friend?
