You heard correctly, as I tend to post this information quite A LOT on this forum. Glad someone was listening :)
Doing the PVT before 24 hours has passed means you are not any closer to knowing your results than if you didn't do the PVT. People do frequently insist it was "right" when they tried it a half hour after finishing their exam, but all that means is that the first scoring and the second scoring were the same, nothing more. And if the score IS the same, then no big deal either way. But if you're one of the many people who are 'on the fence' with this type of program, you could find yourself celebrating too early (because ultimately you failed) or feeling crushed and humiliated (but ultimately you passed).
If you insist on playing with the Trick, wait a minimum of 24 hours to try. Although it's still not a perfect system, it's only 'wrong' rarely. If you live in a State that participates in Quick Results, THAT is the way to go. 48 hours after you finished the test, pay eight bucks and find out for CERTAIN if you passed or failed.
Some BoN websites update daily, making these games unnecessary, but some take a few days, a week, or multiple weeks to post.
If this is the first time you've attempted the NCLEX, the good news is that 91% of first-timers do pass. Those are very good odds! Also, stopping at the minimum number of questions means either you did VERY well or VERY poorly. Consider the kind of student you were, the kind of studying and prep you did, how you performed on practice tests....and take a guess at which is MORE likely: you did very well....or very poorly?
Good luck!

Thank you so much for the info. Its my 3rd attempt, and I promised myself that this time Im going to pass my Nclex RN. I studied really really hard for this and Im hoping and praying I passed.
I know some of the questions, I answered it correctly. But there are some that I am really uncertain.
Pls. Pray for me. God bless
Praying for you! I also stopped at 75 questions and felt the exact same feelings you did. It's very stressful and agonizing. Hoping you passed!!
Yes. I saw your post that you passed. Congrats btw. I'm still sad for myself right now. Buuut what can I do. Maybe I just have to pick up myself again. Tomorrow Im gonna get the quick results.. THANK YOU!!
