Hi everyone! I am applying to Stony Brook's ABSN and wanted to create this thread for anyone who wanted to share stats, updates or need assistance!

None of my pdfs would upload even though it said to upload pdfs. Admissions told me to try pasting my pdfs as images into a word document, and uploading the word document instead.

Ohhh that's interesting. but where do you have the option to upload the pdf's? the only place I see is in the essay section, but I wanted to upload my resume too

Actually, I don't remember seeing anywhere to upload a resume - I was trying to upload my transcript pdfs.

Someone on last year's forum broke down the tuition she paid, definitely closer to $20-25k for the year (plus books, insurance, etc). I'll try to link it here - it's on the last page of last year's forum in case I don't do this right.

I was wondering if anyone knew when decisions are normally released?
Someone above said that you don't hear back until after the deadline Oct 7. Based on last year's forum, people heard back sometime in the month of Oct for interview invitations

Yea you're right, if you have health insurance you can waive it and your total cost would be lower
