Stony Brook University School of Nursing Basic Baccalaureate Program - Two Year, Class of 2026

Hi everyone, since the application window is about to close for the basic baccalaureate program, I figured we could use this thread to stay in touch during the process.  

Hi there! 

It would be great if everyone could post when/if they hear back about whether they were accepted or not! They said we should hear back within 6-8 weeks from February 12. Good luck everyone!

To create a special place for your cohort:

Members with at least 15+ posts OR who have purchased a Platinum membership can create a student "Club" for their cohort.

  • Click on the "Breakroom/Clubs" link under "Communities" at the top of any page in the upper left on desktop or "Breakroom" under "Special Sections" in the upper right on mobile.
  • Click "Start a Breakroom Club".
  • Invite members at your discretion.

You may post social or mobile application links once in a private group. Keep in mind, clubs will not be moderated, unless a member reports an issue.

I also got invited to the next stage.  I'm practicing my basic math speed (to compensate for test nerves).  I'm looking for writing prompts to practice quick essay writing (also to compensate for testing jitters.)

 

Anyone have some good topic prompts to do practice mock essays?
