Hi! I also applied for PMHNP for part-time Summer 2021. I have not heard back, however I've read we likely won't hear back regarding our status until March. I'd imagine the staff is mostly working remote and are having to adjust to a different process. Virtually crossing my fingers for you!!
Thank you for creating this thread. I believe they said that we can expect letters of acceptance in early February because they wanted us to know early to plan especially in this pandemic. This was what the director of the PMHNP program told me during the interview. Also, it does not seem as though there are many PMHNP applicants here. I am checking my emails multiple times per day. It is stressful. Good luck to all.
Hi
I hope you all receive great news and get accepted to the program. Sending good vibes...
Please share any updates if possible.
I want to apply for the this fall 2021 for pnp.
Am not sure if they will seriously consider my application since I only have one year as an RN and like 2 months with my BSN. Only work as a case mamager /nurse field sup as RN. But due to personal reasons I want to pursue pnp, plus I enjoyed the psy clinical rotations while I find many of my peers didn't really like it.
I used to work as LPN before so not sure if that could help during my interview...
Anyway
Please if you guys can share about the interviews, or how the application process went during the covid.
Thanks in advance and good luck
Hi everyone! I applied December 1st and have not heard anything back yet not even about an interview. I have 5 years of psych experience working as a mental health technician throughout my undergrad and nursing school but I have only been working as a nurse for a few months, so kind of just applied on a whim hoping I might have a chance! Have most people gotten an interview by now?
Hi Aba! I have not heard anything. I saw an automatic email that if you are applying for the cert track (you are already have a credential as Advanced Practitioner), you will most certainly have an interview to plan how your course work will potentially unfold. I'm not sure how it will work for those who are applying for a new MSN track. Best of luck!!
Hello Ewall,
I applied to the post masters certificate program track. I got an interview in December and they said that I will hear back in early February. I am curious as to how the course track runs. I know that the regular PMHNP program is 3 years but the post masters is 2 years. Does this mean classes in Spring and fall only or all year. I have to complete 19 credits I was told. I guess if I get accepted I will join the class in the last two years of their program. I hope we hear something soon. Good luck to you!

Hello everyone!
I applied to Stony Brook’s PMHNP program 11/30. I haven’t heard anything back. Just wondering if anyone else has applied/gotten an interview.
Thanks!
