Stony Brook FNP Summer 2020

Just wanted to open a thread for those applying to Stony Brook's FNP program for Summer 2020 ?. It's super early but I want to submit my app asap (currently working on the essay).

For those of you applying to Stony Brook, which schools are you also considering?

Im thinking of going there as well, when will you be starting? I applied and been working with the program manager. And I haven’t heard from SBU either but that’s ok I can’t put all my eggs in 1 basket, time to move forward. ??

Just wondering..did anyone who applied on 12/5 happen to get an interview? I felt as though my application was strong and don’t want a busy work week on the night shift holding me back from potentially being even considered.

Also, let’s for sure share the other schools everyone applied to! I’m looking now because I have not heard back yet.

@Delia Montalbano I wouldn’t be surprised if you hear from them when they get back from winter break!

I also applied to sage college in Albany. I live about an hour from there. Unfortunately it is not an online program. There aren’t many options in NY.

When did you guys get these? I got an email with the date in December. But it wasn’t a “ save the date email” now I’m sad ?

@Anna881 I just received it this morning. It just says the date and time of orientation. It mentions in bold and caps “IF ACCEPTED.”

I think we interviewed after you. Do not feel sad!!
