Hello!Anyone applying to the AG-NP program for Summer 2020?

I am new to this site and also was accepted into the AGNP program along with you all! I was curious if anyone received any further information about orientation or what tasks (other than official transcripts as per acceptance letter) need to be done? I hope you all are healthy and doing well during this pandemic. May we continue to fight the good fight! Be well!

OK! So later on this PM I received an email from the Dean. So, it gives us further instructions on what to expect and how our orientation will go. Looks to be all online as of now. Best of luck to you all and be well while fighting off this awful virus! Praying we never see the likes of this again!

Yup..the main question now is, what about our health forms etc? I know there is a grace period - but we need to submit all those documents too! argh! so frustrating.

Glad the orientation is beginning may 4 and we can do it before there deadline. Hoping to likely do it in one day and make it a "formal" orientation!

wondering if people would be interested in a Zoom meeting so we can all meet each other ?

Hi, There!

I was relieved to see the email today because I was getting a bit nervous about possibly not receiving any emails from the SON (I had a name change and am a SB employee), it's just all confusing, but the IT dept rocks! I know the SON and SB have other priorities now with the covid 19 pandemic, so I greatly appreciate the informative email today. I am assuming the orientation will be in waves and after each session we may have to submit certain paperwork, etc. Makes sense to me. I am just worried about how and when we enroll for classes as I need that for employer payment program. I am sure it will all work out! I would very much enjoy a Zoom meeting to get to meet you all! I am working a lot...and I work overnight shift 7p-7a. So, I am hoping we can throw out a few dates for us to potentialky meet up and I would jump in on zoom!

This program is my one bit of positivity and hope now....seen so much sadness lately! Can hardly wait to start!

Just checking in to see how you all are holding up? I hope this thread finds you healthy. Wondering if anyone is interested in being part of a private online facebook group for our class? I normally am an introvert, however, during these difficult times I thought it may be a wonderful and uplifting way to get to know one another and have some healthy interaction. Perhaps, it can also assist us through the newly admitted orientation and documentation process. I will try my best to keep up with the group, however, once school starts....we probably will not have time for any chatter. LOL!

Hello All,

Congratulations on your acceptance, I'm excited for you!

I'm a physical therapist, strongly considering changing my career tract. This program was one of the programs I have my sights set on for the future. One detail I was hoping to get clarity on- is it full time? Are you able to work at all? I see that it's a two year program, certainly more affordable than many of the other programs.

Awesome work! I didn't get any e-mail after the one where we were informed its a virtual orientation. I hope they can give us the syllabus because right now they have promotions for HCPs to download free books on a few websites...! Would love to get it and help our group out. We are all in the program and thankfully, are adults and able to help each other get through it!

Congrats on making it to the interview round! For us (last year) we had to fill out an application that included an essay and a list of references prior to interview. However, things may have changed this year. Not sure? The essay was built into the application for us last year. I hope this helps!
