I found out I was accepted to the Stony Brook Twelve Month Accelerated Program yesterday!! Yipee!! :yeah:

can you guys tell me your GPA?

I am waiting for mine but I just left my place to home for the vacation, and didnt check my mail...

I have a 3.7 biochem, BS degree, and 3.9 nursing prereq, any chance??

I had a 3.4 gpa, awesome references, and I guess a good essay. They must really consider everything!

NYC he-nurse was your 3.3 overall, or prereqs?

3.3 was my overall. I only had 2 pre-reqs done and I received an A for both.

hey future classmates =) ... i also got into the program and was wondering what have you been doing since you got the letter of acceptance. i just mailed in my response letter and that's it. just wondering if you need to do anything else other than that "admission check list"

to "caffreak"...hey don't give up hope =)... a friend of mine got his rejection letter sometime before the new year. if you haven't heard anything yet that might be a good thing. you might be in the waiting list. hope everything works out for you.

I got rejected a few days ago but I still have some back up options so I won't give up on nursing school yet!
