Anyone else applied to the program? Also, have you heard anything regarding interviews?

I think they have made their decisions on the applicants they will be considering. I think it's time to focus on other schools.

Absolutely. Stony Brook was never my top choice either way, but I wish the best of luck to those interviewing!

Would they even send out emails saying we didn't get in? I mean it's a bit impersonal if they do not. I'd rather be straight up told "sorry not accepted" than constantly be wondering.

The nursing program emailed me this, this morning:

Hello,

The School of Nursing will contact you by email regarding interview scheduling and may contact you any time up until decisions go out. No further information is being disseminated. Thank you.

I saw this posted on another Stony Brook Class of 2020 thread:

"Hello Fellow Applicants!

I interviewed earlier this week. The interview consisted of 4-5 questions and took exactly an hour. According to the coordinator and interviewers, all applicants have been invited to interview (160 interviewees and 80 seats to fill). There were 800 applicants and they will be taking 10%. About 10 minutes after the interview you are brought into another room and start a writing sample (25 minutes) immediately followed by a 25 minute math assessment (decimals, fractions, percentages and knowing how to divide and subtract them - exactly what they say in the email they send out with the interview invitation).

Wait so "all applicants have been invited to interview"? Meaning we should all expect one before Jan 2019?

No, I'm assuming they mean all applicants they decided to interview have already been invited. They can't possibly interview 800 applicants.
