I live in the Cleveland area, where can I go for stna training? I have tried calling nursing homes, etc and have been unsuccessful. The soonest class starts in February. Thanks
Med-Cert in Bedford offers several different STNA class options. They have day evening and weekend classes ranging anywhere from two weeks to six weeks. They start several classes every month. Their website is www.mymedcert.com and their phone number is 440-786-2378. They are also very affordable compared to some of the other progams.
Depending on how many credit hours in college you have, I had a really easy time signing up for the STNA program at Lorain County Community College ( I have over 60 credit hours and was able to sign up on the first day of class registration, I've heard it fills up quickly!). But maybe you could look there :) Good luck! :)

stow-glen does offer the classes, but that is almost in hudson. bath manor would be a lot closer to cleveland. i've also heard that the teaching is better at bath manor. but they do offer classes once a month as well. the prices and length of time in class is the same.
