Stipulated Agreement Timeframe

Published

Im in CA. I finally signed my stipulated agreement with the BRN and Deputy Attorney General. Does anyone know how long it takes once you sign the stipulated agreement paperwork for the BRN to post your RN license to the BRN website.

I have a job offer that I must have my licence by Aug 30, 2013 and I'm terrified that I won't get it in time to start the job.

If anyone knows the process from here it would be so appreciated. Thanks!

Since your new employer MUST be aware of your issues with your license, I think if you don't have it in time, that when you explain that to the HR dept., perhaps they will work with you on your hire date?

My employer has been aware of my situation and stipulated agreement for the past two years that I have been waiting to receive my license. Unfortunately they only start New Gratuates Cohorts in September and March. I have already missed March while I have been waiting on this lengthy process and I don't want to miss September as well

@happynerd. Im in the same boat. I graduated last year in December and I barely received my respondent letter in the mail last week. After waiting 3 months to received this. The deputy who is charge of my case said I don't have to do anything. But I did request to get the stipulated agreement. She said she would have to contact the BRN first before she draft my agreement. I was told the negation can take up to 3 months sometimes sooner if the board approved it.

congrats to you @happynerd

I hope all is well. Aug 30 is coming up, i hope your license was instated...

can i ask.. what kind of criminial charges did you have? are you on probation/diversion?

and how blessed you are to have a job lined up. Kudos. hope all is well
