  1. Thanks for responding back. I called the board again today and my results still pending. Im thinking if i failed they should have the results in aalready but the fact their telling me no letter was sent out.
  2. Its been a week in half and called the brn and my results is still pending. The gentleman told me to wait another 4 weeks. Thst would be a total 6 weeks.
  3. Im in the state of California. Its been exactly a week now. I'd called the BRN and spoken to a gentleman over the phone. Im anticipating to pay for the reexamination fee again. He said my results is still pending. Then he checked another screen to see if a letter was generated meaning i failed which he said no. Based on this forum im speculating i failed. Im not even going to keep my hopes up. He also mentioned for me not to get ahead of myself because there was a recent situation a girl paid for her fee and find out later she passed. And she can not get refunded. What ill do is call the BRN next week again.
  4. What did you do differently this time around? I have kids and it's really hard for me to study.
  5. What did you do differently this time around? Its really hard for me to study because I have kids.
  6. Took mine on the 28th of january, 2015. Took me straight to cc and inputed my cc information and my card decline. I strongly believe i failed because i waited 3 days to do the pvt. In my opinion if its attempting to charge me because i did not pass. It is what it is. and hit submit. It said my card decline. I know i failed.
  7. I took my nclex on Wednesday, the 28th of January. I decided to wait until Sunday to do the pvt. It took me straight to cc. Then I proceed to step 2 where i inputed my information. I clicked the submit button and my card decline because it doesnt have sufficient funds. I strongly believe i failed it because its attempting to charge me. It is what it is. My test stopped at 148 and my last 10 questions was triage qs, delagation, who to see first, and my last qs before my computer shut off was regarding a patient was admitted to the ER with pyloric stenosis what imbalance the patient presenting. Anyway... i thought i did ok by getting these qs but probably not. Ill keep you guys posted to my real results. At the meantime ill relaxe and restudied again next week.
  8. Today is Nov.6 2013. I finally got my respondent letter directly from the BRN. My case got approved. My probation start Dec. 3, 2013. Since, I did not pass my nclex. The board will forward my application back to licensing so I can retake my test again. Once I pass, a probation monitor will either contact me by letter or phone as to what I need to do next before my license is issue.
  9. This message is for sunflw37...I signed my respondend letter in August, 2013 too. I heard it take anywhere from 3-4 months for the board to contact me. It has been almost 3 months now. Hopefully I hear from them soon. If it's approved on a vote, a probation monitor will notify me as to what I need to do next. At the meantime, I'm freshing up on my skills. I highly recommend you do the same. Most of my friends that are nurses for the new grads program are not up to date on their skills. One thing they recommend is to go over it. One more thing, even though I do not know the outcome of my situation. I had attended a nurse meeting, really helpful. There are people that have been nurses for over 20 year plus that is going through the same thing we are but with the exception they are practing and some are not. Try attending one in your area. Look on the board website under diversion. They can you tips what is expected from the probation period. Hope that help and please keep me inform.
  10. @happynerd. Im in the same boat. I graduated last year in December and I barely received my respondent letter in the mail last week. After waiting 3 months to received this. The deputy who is charge of my case said I don't have to do anything. But I did request to get the stipulated agreement. She said she would have to contact the BRN first before she draft my agreement. I was told the negation can take up to 3 months sometimes sooner if the board approved it.
  11. This post is for Sunflw137. I'm in the exact situation. I took my board like 2 weeks after you. I also signed a waiver for the BRN not to release the results. I did the Pearson Vue trick and it took me straight to credit card. Some how I wasn't supposed to find out results but I did anyway. I basically failed. So, I resubmitted my application to the board and my file was already in Endorcement. With the exception they had already sent my case to the general attorney. It's been almost 3 months now and I barely received my respondent letter to appeal. Hopefully from what I was told. The process is pretty fast once you get that letter. The only different is you passed and I didn't. Meaning when your case settle, the BRN will issue you your license and as for me I'll have to retake mine. Hope that help.
  12. Update: Today I took my board. I don't really know what to think of it. I cant say it was hard nor it was easy. I had tons of SATA. It was like every 2-3 questions I was getting it. I want to say I had at least 20-25 questions that were SATA. 5 drag and drop, 10-15 prioritizing questions, 5 to 8 on infection control, a few on medication and lastly a lot on procedures and lab values. My computer shut off at 75 questions. Since I signed the waiver for the BRN not to release my result. I'm not sure if the pearson vue trick will apply to me. Now, i have to wait until the general attorney contact me with my stipulation. Once I signed that thats when the BRN will contact me if I pass or fail. I'm praying I did pass. Now, the waiting game starts.
  13. Hi guys! For those who will come across this page. This is an update from my previous post above. I sent my appeal about a week and half ago, like March 22nd. Received a mail on Monday, April 1st that they received it. Yesterday, was Thursday, April 4, 2013. I received a letter from the BRN for approval to take my board. Im so happy and excited. I scheduled to take my board at the end of this month. However, my result wont be release because it's still need to go through general attorney for alternative stipulation. I'm ok with that. Most importantly, is being able to take the board since everything is still fresh in my head. I was told it can take another few months before they can release my result to me. By then, Im hoping ill get into the new grad program. At the meantime, once I hear from the general attorney. I will keep you guys posted as to what stipulation apply to me.
  14. Hi everyone, I would like to share a similar story I have. Long story short. I have a total of 2 DUI's. One back in 2005 and the second one in 2010, right before I started nursing school. I recently graduated in December, 2012. I knew when I applied for BON that it would take sometime for them to get back to me. I started my application in the beginning of December. I provided proof of court documents along with my rehabilitation, police report surrounding my arrest (this is a must, otherwise, the BRN would not even look at your application), two reference letters from your clinical instructors or professors or even better the director of nursing, letter of explanation explaining your a change person to support your application. The BRN received my application for licensing around mid December, from there since I had prior convictions, everything stops the process. My file got moved to Enforcement Department for evaluation and get assigned to analysis. From there, it took another 3 months for approval or denial. Today, I received a letter that my application got denied. However, if I choose to appeal. They will go ahead and let me take my license once they received my appeal letter BUT my result will not be release. In the appeal, there were 2 options to choose from. Either I choose to appeal in court or go with the alternative stipulation formative appeal. I choose to do the alternative stipulation. And I will be mailing my appeal letter this week. According to what was stated from the BON. They give me permission to take my nclex once they received that appeal letter and while everything is still in process of the attorney general.
