I did it! I enrolled today in Intro to Statistics, to work towards my degree as a CNM. I currently have an associates degree in nursing, and have worked in L&D for 6+ years. I am so psyched!
My plan is to enroll at Frontier in the ADN to MSN bridge program, next fall. I'm saving some money by taking Stats now at my local community college, instead of through Frontier (since it's essentially the same class anyway...why not save a little money??)
Fingers crossed, I can get my tuition reimbursed through my employer for the class.

Oooo nice! :) I need stats too. Concentrating on LVN first then will take it when I am waiting to get into LVN-RN. Good Luck!

That is exciting!
Is Frontier going to accept your local class? That would be great to save the $ on it... I'm thinking of taking it at Frontier & it's $$$ ka-ching $$$.
I know on their website they list certain specifics that the class must include, & say that it needs to be "upper level undergraduate or graduate statistics course", "Students who would like to take a statistics course other than the ones listed below should contact their Department Chair for approval of the course." etc. etc...
LOL, RNLaborNurse... I just saw your post over on the CNM board about stats... :)
yeah, I am concerned that I might not be able to transfer my stats class to Frontier. But like I said on the CNM board, even if I have to take it again at Frontier, it's not a big deal to me. The community college stats course will be like a prep for the Frontier one.
Then again, if I, for some reason, decide to not go to Frontier, the stats class I'm going to take should transfer at another college.
