run by the state?? I have been searching the net for an hour and only come up with long lists of EVERY hospital in the state.
I want only the hospitals that...................when the employee gets their paycheck, it is paid by the state.
I'm interested in accumulating some state bennies.

I didn't know such a thing existed. Have you tried calling HR for one of those facilities to see if they can guide you? Or maybe look at the Texas Dept. of Health site and contact them. Sorry I am no help.

Thanks for the information. The list only contains mental health/mental retardation hospitals, and not the teaching hospitals and criminal justice (prison) hospitals and the ones where adolescents are locked up. I plan to keep looking, will try the HR route.

The University of Texas hospitals are run by the state and you are a state employee. Why is being paid by the state important to you?
state benefits................................(it sure ain't the state salary) :)
