State Nursing Registry

I’m trying to find out how many states have an online registry for nursing/license verification. If any of you live in a state that has that or know of one, would you mind sharing which state and what info they share?

Thanks!

Almost all of them do. Indiana shares name, city of residence, date of first licensure, date license expires/ renewal due, and if license is encumbered. Discipline against a license is also available but in a separate portal.

I'm pretty sure most states are in Nursys.com

Yes, but really all that shows is your license number. I believe OP was asking what personal information might be shared. Nursys doesn't even show the city you live in while BON sites usually do. Nursys also does not show encumbrances on licenses while BON sites do in varying degrees of detail.

Michigan is the one state I think is not in Nursys- and some states take FOREVER to update. Case in point- I have two grads in IL who passed NCLEX months ago and are still not in Nursys.

Our state gives just license number and current or not. No personal info, e.g. address. I have licenses in several states around the country for work, though, and they are all the same.

Pardon me but this seems like an odd question and fairly easily searched via the national BON association website. Homework question? Avoiding an abuser from finding you? If the latter, consider getting a license in a few other states, not Compact licensure. Unlike Compact licensure that does note your primary licensure residence state, this could make it hard to find you PRN. Worth the extra $$ IMHO.

If I’m completely off base, pardon me.
