The oncology special care unit, or ????? Just curious.
The test is not bad, and is done on the first day - the first day is usually short and you are out before noon. The main orientation is at the main hospital, about 8 miles south. I4 is a wretched headache to drive so give yourself some time. The main orientation is for a couple of days in class. Then they have two or three days on the floor.
Florida Hospital is Adventist owned. While it does serve meat and caffeinated beverages, the salad bar is a better bet. The premade sandwiches may be fake or real tuna or chicken sandwiches, and there are a lot of "fake" meat products in the cafeteria. The fake stuff can make one a bit gassy. Not to mention that the Turkey bacon at Jewish hospitals definitely beats out the taste/look of vegetable bacon.
Adventist facilities observe religious holidays/Sabbath much more strictly than other facilities. Many offices/departments close early on Friday afternoons (Sabbath is sundown Friday to sundown Saturday) and stay closed until Monday morning (in deference to other religions that celebrate Sunday).
And remember that as a staff member, you are part of the healing power of Christ and He is your chief of the medical staff. My Jewish family loved that. As do many of the MDs...who are from India, South America, China, etc.
SPCU and actually already tested wasn't bad at all Thank You for reply
Glad to hear it.
I hope the rest goes smoothly.
