Starting pre-req this summer

Anyone else there and any tips?

Yeah, im actually gonna tweak my fall load...i can take intro to soc, and nutrition in spring... no need to over whelm, i need my sciences out the way though, it looks better when i apply to nursing programs...

Is pre-algebra the only math you have to take as a prereq? If so I am jealous. We have to have statistics and probability which is like a math 108 :S Not looking forward to it!

The community college that I am attending does not focus on math that much. My advisor did suggest that if I want to pursue my bachelors then I would have to take more math classes. I have never been that great in math but I think this time around I more serious and mature and don't have any boys distracting me.

I hope you all that are taking more than three classes the best and that you dont overwhelm yourselves.

I just met with my advisor and I'm changing my summer and fall classes. Now I am taking the nac and lifespan, along with microbio. LOL well good luck with the no boy distraction!

I'm starting my pre-reqs this summer too :) I'm a current undergrad (just got done with freshman year at JHU) so I've been in school for pretty much as long as I can remember :uhoh3: but I think I finally have some direction about what I want to do with my life now haha.

I'll be taking a nutrition course through a local community college this June. It's an online course and I don't think I've ever taken those before, so we'll see how it goes. Next summer, I'll be taking A&P I and the summer after that A&P II and microbiology. I think I also have to take some other courses like orgo, but luckily, most are courses that Hopkins offers. It's going to do awful things to my GPA though... :(

Be careful. study hard because most NS are gpa based, at least where im at anyways.
