Starting LPN Program in August

Published

I start nursing school in August, I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. I am not a big reader and I know that its a lot of heavy reading. Anybody would like to share some study techniques/advice that may help me during school. Thanks

I will be 54 in November and though I had a tough first year with all my prereq.courses I managed to keep a GPA of 3.5..:D I'm nervous:smokin: but I know I will be just fine because my life long dream of helping others is going to come true! Thanks for your feedback....

Only you can perfect your own study habits. Some people like to study in groups. Group studying doesnt work for me. I have tried making note cards for a quarter, writing questions on ms word for a whole quarter, writing on paper, and now my study habits last 2 quarters have been none of above and i just reread pertinent information several times. My program is seven quarters long, and have one left to go :) So basically, you have to figure out what works for you.
