I just finished A&P 1 and this is what got me through- I answered ll the review questions after each chapter on paper- I find writing it out helps me remember better. I re-wrote my notes from class and added drawings in color ( I am not an artist, but just so I could visualize) I also went online- some books have an A & P website with practice tests and review. I did those for each chapter, and re-did each review test multiple times. I used 3 X 5 cards for definitions as well as body parts- like for tissues, I copied my lab book, cut out the pics of different tissues, or bones, and pasted them on the front and then the answer on the back. It was a great help in memorizing all the bones, muscles, and tissues. The biggest thing is to do something every night to keep it in your mind. You cannot do a cram session before the test with A & P! Good luck! I enjoyed it, I think because I put a lot of time into it and tried really hard to understand the material.
Definitely read every chapter, and take notes while you read. Some of my chapters were so long that I had about 20 pages of notes! But I got an A in the class :) Do the online practice quizzes and tests, they are very good. Do not get behind, or you will end up reading and studying 3 chapters in 2 nights for a test (been there and done that...no fun!). You will be fine :)

super excited but a bit nervous about the memorizing part! Any suggestions? Anyone else studying anatomy this semester too?
