Hello,
Tomorrow I start nursing school (LVN) and I am totally excited! I am doing the LVN-RN Bridge program because this will be easier for me financially in the long run and quicker! I have been stalking this site for many years now; so I finally decided to post something. I have been a CNA since 2002 -- I got certified in high school. They offered the course there after school and I needed some kind of extra credit and nursing just became my thing.
Anyone else starting school soon? This is one of my New Year's Resolution....

Congratulations!! i start my nursing program in Jan. Odd day to start your program on, is it based on quarter terms?
It's a twelve month program. The actual start date is Dec 12th; however, orientation is a week long from 8am-4pm starting tomorrow to guru the basics. I believe each term is 21 weeks long (3 terms, I could be wrong w/ the weeks) but graduation is on Dec 4th, 2012
Congrats girl! I am more stoked because I do not have to pay a dime!
lol isn't that awesome! oh ok, my twelve month program begins jan 17 and end's dec 17 Not sure when graduation will be. cnt wait to begin!!
Congrats girl! Are you in California?
no, TX, where are you?
I am in California! It's super cold and really windy here right now.
oh ok, it's a bit windy, really chilly and raining. this is the coldest its been since I've been down here. Since you're a cna, where do you work?

What school in Texas are you attending? How did you do it to not have to pay a dime? I am interested in starting an LVN program in the Dallas area. Anyone out there have advise as to what school to attend?
